  • TRIO ELETRICO
    It is a truck with a ton, on the average, of sound and with a structure of stage above where the musicians make showns, around, 5 hours on the carnival routes.


  • CARRO DE APOIO
    It is a truck when the participants find a complete structure with toilets and bar, in addition to a calm area reserved.


  • CORDAS
    The block is enclosed for a rope what is suspend for lambs and guarantee the security from the participants, the insulating of any discomfort from exterior area.


  • CORDEIRO
    They are men, conveniently selection, that keep the rope suspend, guarantee the participant security and allow a good fluency in the block during the rote.


  • ABADÁ
    It is a confortable t-shirt, that serves like an invitation to the participant go to the block. The "abada" was born in 90´s, by the artist Pedrinho da Rocha and comes to substitute the unconfortable t-shirts were used.


  • PIPOCA
    It is a group of participants that follow the truck outside of the rope.


  • CIRCUITO DODO
    Was the first alternative rote. Starts at Barra and go until Ondina. Was "made" an 11 years ago by Daniela Mercury and nowadays all of players come around there.


  • CIRCUITO OSMAR
    This is the most tradicional rote of Salvador carnival. It is downtown. The "best" days to go to avenida (as like as know) are Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.


  • CIRCUITO BATATINHA
    This rote is in PELOURINHO and has a programming all round the families. But happiness also there with a lot of sound and dancing.


  • BLOCOS DE TRIO
    As knowing also like a tradicional block. They are the blocks that taking part from many years ago, into Salvador carnival and staring at Sunday, Monday and Tuesday at "circuito Osmar".


  • BLOCOS ALTERNATIVOS
    Appear to decant the surplus of participant in the "blocos de trio". The alternative blocks go out from Thursday into Saturday and, normaly, staring at "circuito Dodô"


  • BLOCOS AFROS
    Are blocks that prize black cultures. They give all shine to salvador carnival. They don´t use "abadas"; they keep the tradition to go to the street using fantasies and, in addition, go to "avenida" with a lot of dancing, sound and poem.


  • CAMAROTES
    They began discreet and nowadays the call attention in Salvador Carnival. The cabines are in a strategically positioned on the carnival rotes and provides to participant a privilege view. In addition all, the camarotes also have a big structure with nightclube, lounge and spa.


  • TRIO INDEPENDENTE
    They are trucks that go out without rope around the carnival rotes making the hapiness of "pipoca" participants.


  • SÓCIO
    It is the participan who payed for one block/camarote. They have the right to follow the truck and use all the security of a block/camarote. Be a member now!


  • COMISSÁRIO
    They are hability people to sell "abadas". You can be one of them in your city/country. Make your register.


  • PRÉ-HABILITAÇÃO
    After the pay, the member have to tak a "check-in" to change for "abada". With this the member check your register, maximizing his/her security. The "pré-habilitação" it´s a way to make a "check-in" before. Normaly happens one mounth before the exchange t-shirts.


  • ENTREGA DE ABADÁS
    It is a big structure maded to the participant can recieve your "kit", with the blocks/camarotes t-hirt. The brilhant of carnival is already feel in this exchange t-shirt´s.


  • QUARTA FEIRA DE CINZAS
    After a lot of music, dancing and happiness, it is time to say good-bye to the Salvador carnival. The "quarta feira de cinzas" it is a day to relax and starts preparing to next carnival . But, in this day we still have the "arrastão".


  • ARRASTÃO
    Ivete Sangalo and Timbalada commanding this event that happen on Wednesday, after the carnival. When everybody think that the carnival is off, they put their truck in the other way of "circuito Osmar" and make the party, for whom still have energy. And the better is: No ropes, for everybody can play.


  • ENCONTRO DE TRIOS
    It is happen in "Castro Alves square", on Tuesday of carnival. The trucks being toguether in this point and make to "pipoca" participant, one of the most beautifull scenic of Salvador carnival. Sometimes happens of 5 trucks stops at same time.
